  1. I must have been in a Hor-Com mood last night as that film really tickled my movie gland...as it were. It didn't ask of me to over analyze anything, just that I sit back and enjoy the weird and wonderful ride.

It was an original take on the horror genre, was well cast throughout (especially the zombie arm) and had a really nice sense of pace. Even though we kept cutting away from the cabin and therefor weren't really as engaged with their fear, I actually think we were meant to be on the ride with the puppeteers just as much. The fact we often cut away from the really gory parts said as much of the directors intentions.

    Jerry - you are redeemed...ish.

  2. Whedon stuff is always good. The 'Company' really reminded me of Dolls House.

Loved that the bits where you expected to jump didn't and then bits you weren't expecting did. I slightly soiled myself when the cellar door opened. Great fun.

Zombie arm and unicorn highlights but my favourite part was what happened when all the lift doors opened. Never seen that in any movie ever.
